Riverswan Studios is a creative studio specialising in event videography and photography, established in 2015 and built on over a decade of professional experience. Founded and led by Photographer Mariam Razzaq and Videographer Aaqib Akhtar, Riverswan Studios was born out of their own journey together. After getting married themselves, they understood how deeply meaningful it is to preserve life’s most cherished memories, and set out to capture those same timeless moments for others.

The result is a beautifully cinematic film, crafted with care and edited seamlessly to music, giving your story the visual depth it truly deserves.
Our style is completely unobtrusive. By combining carefully selected lenses with professional, film industry-grade equipment, we’re able to capture genuine moments as they unfold, without ever interrupting them.
We understand that not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera. That’s why we keep direction to a minimum, allowing your day to flow naturally while we quietly preserve it.
Everything is filmed in UHD 4K, delivering exceptional image quality while keeping our presence subtle, so much so that most of your guests won’t even realise they’re being filmed.
A Background in Cinema, Corporate Film, & Global Storytelling
Before focusing fully on weddings and events, our work was rooted in the world of corporate filmmaking and cinematic short films.
We’ve had the privilege of creating films and photography for globally recognised brands including American Express, BBC, ServiceNow, Odeon Cinemas, and Sky, delivering high-end visual content where precision, storytelling, and production quality are non-negotiable.
Alongside this, we produce short films for cinema. Our recent work has been recognised at the Global Encounters Film Festival, with our award-winning film screened at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, as well as at festivals around the world. These experiences shape everything we do.
